Ai or "the algorithm" doesn't care about a lot of things that are VERY important. In March I will be celebrating a couple of things: turning 70, 3 years since I retired, 39 years sober. All three are helping me to put a lot of things in perspective. I care about the important things, the things that REALLY matter in life. The realities of life as humans can't be experienced, taught or felt by Ai. It doesn't know pain, loss or grief. It doesn't know what awe, joy, peace or inspiration feel like. These are some of things that make life worth living. There is a big difference between having someone describe to you what an orange smells or tastes like, and actually experiencing the taste, smell, feel of eating an orange (for example). I'll take real life over whatever Ai, algorithms, social media dish out.
