Loving the time-skip arc manga analogy 😆 I feel this especially in Tokyo since everyone here is well, here for a purpose or a goal ie: study, work, building a brand, creative project etc and there are only so many weekends in a month especially if you work a full time job. As a student, your time is limited so it can be quite stressful wanting to ‘do’ & ‘see’ everything while you’re here. I’ve run into friends after 3 years of not seeing each other despite living in the same city & we watch each other grow.
Thanks for reading, May! Agree! Well, in fact, we also see each other probably once or twice a year 😂, and I've been enjoying our random catch-ups at events! Looking forward to the next one!
There are also different kinds of friendship. There is also an idea to have a small local group of friends who agree to meet regularly, e.g.weekly. Obviously, not all of them can join every week. But, if possible, make it a regular agenda. Make it a top priority in that time slot.
It might not be successful, since we will know whether we are comfortable or not after several trials. but worth trying.
There is also a type of friendship who share reels in your Instagram groups.

I agree

Thanks for the post!
I agree, making an effort to keep the friendship alive is a lesson I learned along the way. Even sending reels on IG counts. Thanks for reading!
