We enjoy life, to just "be"?
We are all acting as if we are being chased by time.
Yet we often dismiss the importance of being idle.
We all try to be productive and often forget.
To be grateful for the things we have.
When you open your eyes in the morning,
...as you hear the birds chirping.
When you feel the water that went down your throat,
...like a stream that flows on barren soil.
When you taste the flavourful food in your mouth,
...like colours being thrown into monochromes.
Inhale the smell of the trees,
...as you breathe the lingering scent of the morning breeze.
Feel the warmth of the sun caressing your skin,
...as you cover your eyes from its ray of light.
The damp plump of grass on your feet,
...as you step on the ground.
We enjoy life, to just "be"?
We all try to be productive.
But we often forget.
The joy of.
Just.
Being.
