What the adults don't tell us about adulthood

When I was a kid, I thought one day, the adult me would figure it out.

Then, when I finished school and started to work, I learned that the adult world is not as kind as I thought.

In school, when we receive a bad score, we can redo the test. When something happens, and we don't know what to do, our teachers and parents will help us. And when we need help with our homework, we can always count on our friends.

But in real life, there are no grades and rankings. There is no way to know if we are doing well or poorly. We have to be responsible for our actions and decisions. When we mess up, nobody else can help me clean up the mess we've made.

We started to realize that our teachers and parents are as lost as we are. And obviously, we can't ask our friends to help us with our jobs.

So, how do we make sure we don't mess up? Unfortunately, we can't. That's the point of living our lives. To enjoy the ride, no matter where it takes us.

We can only try our best, learn from our mistakes, and improve ourselves. There's no guarantee that our lives will be good or bad. After all, what's considered a "good" or "bad" life?

That's why it's okay to feel lost in life.
It's okay not to know where to go or what to do in life.
It's normal if you feel stuck in life.
It's normal if your life is not as interesting as you thought it would be.

Because nobody knows what they are doing in life.
We are all just living while trying to figure it out.
Some figured it out earlier, and others might do it later.
But in the end, there is no winning and losing in life.

The only important thing is to enjoy the ride.
Because one day, you will look back and see.
That thing did not just happen to you.
They happened for you.
