Perfection does not exist
We often obsess over getting things right. We want the perfect outcome, the perfect timing, and the perfect life.
But if there is one thing life teaches us again and again, it is that perfection doesn’t exist. The more you chase for perfection, the more you will suffer.
Things will go wrong. Plans will fall apart. Humans make mistakes. We often wonder why life didn’t turn out the way we hoped, because our reality fails to match the ideal picture in our heads.
Yet, perfection might actually exist, but only if we shift our perspective.
True perfection isn’t about a flawless journey where nothing ever breaks.
What makes an experience “perfect” is when we learn from it. If, we learn from it.
Every mistake, failure, and heartbreak carries a lesson.
When we stop resisting the pain and start asking, “What is this trying to teach me?”, things will get easier, because the experience is no longer wasted. It becomes a stepping stone, a lesson, or a meaningful chapter in the book of your life.
I understand that in the middle of a struggle, it almost always feels like pure pain or an unfair setback. After all, when we are in the eye of the storm, it’s hard to see the sunshine and rainbows. But when time passes and the dust finally settles, we look back and begin to see clearly.
The rainbow will be there, after all.
We see why it had to happen.
We see what we learned from it.
And most importantly, we see how we changed because of it.
We realize that who we are today was built by the very things that didn’t go according to plan. Those difficult moments were redirections, shaping us into the person we needed to become.
When we connect the dots looking backward, the chaotic, messy parts of our past suddenly make sense. We realize that the hardship didn’t just happen to us—it happened for us.
And that is how we finally understand destiny. Not as a rigid path where everything goes right, but as a journey where even the wrong turns lead us exactly where we are meant to be. In hindsight, it may seem like we are destined to fail. But if we zoom out and look at the bigger picture, that failure has set us up for success.
So, whatever you are going through right now, don’t force it to be perfect.
Let it unfold. Learn from it. Grow from it.
Enjoy the mistakes and failures.
Because one day, you will look back and realize: everything was perfect all along.
I hope you found this insightful, remember:
It’s not going to be easy
But it’s not impossible
Your friend,
Brian
